Good morning all.

Does an anytime day single from Walthamstow Central to Wimbledon permit the route Underground Walthamstow to Vauxhall and NR Vauxhall to Wimbledon?

I can't get the forum site's planner to show this but I have a feeling that it is valid.

Thank you.

Journey planners quite commonly show changing to/from SWR services to/from the Tube at Vauxhall, even if the itinerary also requires a change at Clapham Junction to/from SWR services that don't stop at Vauxhall

As has been posted the national rail page on crossing London has a long list of stations and merely says that the underground stations must be "appropriate to the route of the through journey".

The Journey planners use by retailers on the other hand go by the "fixed links" in the timetable data. There is no direct fixed link defined from Walthamstow Central to Wimbledon and I don't think journey planners will "chain" fixed links.

Just to be clear, the thread title refers to interavailability but this is simply a matter of making a cross-London transfer which is a different thing.
