Inter-rail online planner issues

The online planner has a glitch which folks headed east from UK should be aware:

Often if you type in a journey that goes via Cologne to, say, Munich or beyond, it'll divert you to Dusseldorf then via "TARDIS" to Neuremberg in 9 minutes where the journey continues. (See photo).

This is irksome for those planning long trips, not sure how to overcome it?

It's not related to the UK. I could reproduce this by just planning from Düsseldorf to Nürnberg without any filters. I already reported this to Eurail yesterday. It's the 4th 'wormhole' I've seen over the past few years. It will probably be fixed soon.
You should never use the Rail Planner app (or the Interrail website) to plan. It's incomplete, often not up to date and generally unreliable. Use national planners, or bahn.de for international journeys.
The offline mode in the RPA doesn't have this problem. It's largely up to date by the time you travel, so it's normally not a problem to find your trains a day in advance, or while travelling.
