Inter available routes LU

If I turn up at Bank station gate line with my Rail Staff Travel dated box and show it to staff in order to travel on the inter available route to Waterloo, will I be waved through, or am I likely to have an awkward conversation while I explain the inter available route rules?

I could do without any time sapping, embarrassing situations. I’d rather walk.

Is it mentioned in the current RSTL guide, or anywhere else? If so, take a copy of that with you.

Indeed. It is. Unfortunately not all TfL staff are aware of the intricacies of the Staff travel card (lack of training?), and some don't take kindly to being told they are incorrect, I’ve heard. I’ll have a copy on my phone but im not sure I want to put myself in that situation.

I think you stand little chance of not having an awkward conversation. You would think it would be ok as it was a BR railwayup until privatisation.

i am challenged every time when attempting to use the Bakerloo from Paddington to Harrow & Wealdstone even after showing an extract from the London Underground Network Services Book 8, Helping Customers, Ticketing & Revenue, which lists the route as valid with staff travel documents.

I do wonder what's happened to LUL training of their CSAs of late. There was a whole module when I did my training on inter-available tickets and staff passes....
