Initial Industry Plan - Proposed Enhancements List

Following last week's Initial Industry Plan announcement, there has been more info published today:

A "Definition of proposed CP5 enhancements", a 150 page pdf, in a similar format to the existing CP4 enhancement plans, has appeared on this page: http://www.networkrail.co.uk/IIP.aspx

Includes England, Wales and Scotland in the one document.

Not much we didn't know to be fair. I enjoyed how diversionary routes off the MML were additions to the main electrification scheme, leaving us with another ECML problem when there are OLE troubles!

I was particularly pleased to see North TPE electrification in there as well.

No Nottingham-Grantham or Hope Valley electrification which I suppose isn't too suprising I suppose but still annoying, some more crossways electric capacity could come in handy.
