Does anyone know if there is a handy list of upgrades and infrastructure projects that are either going ahead or confirmed.

I'm trying to create a future network map but need details on all the lasted works planned and under way. I'm lazy I know, but the network rail and dft websites aren't as straight forward as I'd like.

Isn't the Reading flyover now underway?

Reading station area itself is underway, but the whole project is staged and the flyover isn't due for a few years - July 2015.

When the station area was granted planning approval recently, they said applications for the flyover and associated road changes would be dealt with later...

I believe it was included in the ECML enhancements mentioned after the spending review.
It is now awaiting formal planning approval from the Government.

The SofS has issued a 'minded to approve' letter for the TWA Order, pending resolution of planning concerns about construction vehicles on local roads etc.

Ely to Norwich re-signalling has been given the green light. Commisioning will take place during the summer of 2012.

I know thats when it is all meant to be completed but id presumed the flyover would have opened earlier.

Whilst the Westbury grade seperation seems odd in the way its staggered it doesnt make a lot of difference as you will still see the really heavy freights going across the flat through the low end of the station once its finished. Going to be some interesting blockades in 2014/15 Id have thought
