Information on coach parties

After running into numerous coach parties on the West Highland and Kyle lines last year, is there a way to find out in advance which trains are block booked by said coach parties? I'm going around the North next year and am considering doing the S&C but I don't want to end up on a ram-packed midday train with my view blocked out all the way to Carlisle.
