Info required from fellow conductors/guards

Hello all. Most of you know who I work for and I'm just looking for some info. For comparison, we are trying to find the basic salary of conductors from other companies. If you have this info, could you please PM me, or post here if you wish.

Sounds like Southern are about to have a pay rise request from their Guards.

Gwr conductor is 28,313 Basic sundays outside but pay rise I gather has been approved which should take it to at least the 29k mark

LM is £28645, but should go up to something around £29200 this month. Sundays outside.

Hi Sarah. Sounds like you had the same idea as me. About a month ago there was a vacancy on swt web site for what i think is a pts trained guard at £35100 (may have been listed as Senior Guard) I think it was a 35 hour week which definitely included Sundays.
I asked our communications team to resend yesterday's email from Dyan, but this time include the details of pay rises awarded to guards at other tocs as per the last paragraph of his letter.

As far as I understand that is fairly uncommon. I've already PM'd you the details of my TOC.

Virgin West Coast is Sundays inside for Guards (itd want to be given they're on about 38K at this stage!) with a 41 hour week.

ATW is currently about 29800 for 35 hours, Sundays outside, but with a backdated pay award pending.

I'm open to correction but I'm almost positive SWT guards are on more than 35 hour week, think it's 40 or more there, in return for what is admittedly a decent salary.

South West Trains: Comm Guard (ex Cond) £36048, Guard former G personal rate £33347, 42 Hours, 26 days holiday,

Can confirm gwr conductor now £28,879 conveniently got the back pay before I leave so train managers are now on circa £34,000

This is a strange one at my place. If you're on the old type (ex-BR) contract, you are not obliged to work Sundays. If you are on a new contract (like myself) and you don't want to work, you must make yourself unavailable on the sheet. If it can be covered, fine, if not, we're obliged to. They pay time and a half, however. We also cannot book them off as annual leave.

Just over 32000k at chiltern with Sundays outside the week.Enough greedy buggers 2 grab a Sunday if u not willing to work a rostered one.
