Waaaaiiit a second... There is supposedly a normal timetable this Saturday, how come? Normally when there is a strike on Friday trains dont start running until 8am and even then are severely delayed.

Is it a safe bet that the 6:25am Maidstone East to London Victoria will run on time?

It's an ASLEF (and RMT drivers) strike. So signalling centres are all open usual hours. Typically on RMT strike days they don't reopen until 0630/0700 (ish) meaning that the peak is basically ruined as all the early movements cannot happen nor can any late night moves (as they all shut up shop at 1830/1900ish). So, as long as SE leave their trains in roughly the right places on Thursday and with whatever they run on Friday (if anything) they should be able to run a full service from the start of service on Saturday.
