Don't know if it's been mentioned here before but got recommended a video on YouTube of what can only be described as the Sri Lanka equivalent of a pacer, made from Buses (Ashok Leyland and TATA). Nice that one of the bus manufacturers is (Ashok) Leyland! They are a locally produced product built by SLR Rathmalana Works according to Wikipedia and 14 have been made between 1995 - 2002.
