Increase in lighting failures on S Stock trains

Recently I’ve noticed an increase in lighting panels being very dim or completely off on S Stock trains.

I’d say every 2/4 trains I ride on has at least one carriage with multiple lights non functional. Why is this happening all of a sudden? It really points a poor picture of the state of the trains.

On a similar note, when the lights are replaced, they seem to sometimes pick a white one rather than the usual warm ones. Why is this the case? Is it just choosing what’s available? It can look a bit strange when you look down the carriage and spot a white light in between all the warm ones. Bit odd for them to have two different colour shades as spare parts
