Hi all,
I visited Wolverhampton booking office yesterday to purchase a Network Student Term ticket with band E add on (to Stafford).
Ticket pictured here:
When purchasing the ticket, the staff couldn't work out how to do it (which is fair enough, I don't suppose it's that common!). After several phone calls, I was issued the attached ticket at Wolverhampton.
I thought it strange at the time, as it came to £279 and not the expected £549 (not just a little difference...!!). To ensure I'd been issued the correct ticket, I clarified this was for bus/tram/train in the West Midlands area and the extension to Stafford.
Showing the ticket to my other half this morning, it was pointed out to me that in fact the price was the difference between the standard season (no add on) and the add on season. My question is - what should I do? Obviously I'll be returning to Wolverhampton to clarify, but if I'm picked up on this by revenue at any point today, where do I stand regarding penalty fines? I'm also required to make a bus journey on this later today - again, what should I do here? If not accepted, should I pay the fare and request reimbursement?
I'm at work on a heritage railway today, so cant rectify the issue until tomorrow!
Any advice would be appreciated.
