At some stations around the Network the screens will display a diagram of the allocated train with information on the location of first class and other useful coaches. However, at Temple Meads none of the displays show this. I understand some trains may not stop in the exact spot as expected but it would still be valuable data and I believe it could help during busy periods as passengers won't have to scramble as much.
I do recall a site that simulated a P.I.S and actually had this information but cannot find it - if only RTT was provided with such data!
Is there any reason why Temple Meads doesn't show coach information? I believe that the more recent white LED displays (such as those at Bath) do show this information, is this a case of not upgraded displays, and there's many reasons i can think of why it hasn't happened yet - such as the rewiring scheme that's going on.
