Incident near Reading causing severe disruption to services

On board the 19:15 from Paddington - Swansea.

The train has been stopped outside reading due to a serious incident delaying all trains in and out of Reading station.

Anyone able to shed any light on this?

From National Rail

A person has been hit by a train near Reading West which is causing disruption to journeys between Reading and Basingstoke / Newbury.
Trains are currently unable to run through Reading West, journey times may be extended by up to 60 minutes.
There is no firm estimate yet of how long disruption will last but it is likely to continue until at least 22:00
