All services are currently suspended between Southampton & Brockenhurst due to a derailed freight train.

FGW between Pompey & Cardiff are currently being diverted via Eastleigh & Chandlers Ford.

Just in time for the evening peak period. I'm glad I'm in Somerset! :)

I was at Ashurst (New Forest) when I first learned of the problem ["freight train derailment at Milbrook"] around 18.30...a SWT single-decker went past the top of our road en route to Brockenhurst. The info on the platform via recorded message did not mention anything about where to get a bus, though there were 19 in service! One Up service to Waterloo due 1843 I think was cancelled, according to the P1 display but it was also said to be terminating short at...London Waterloo! I wondered whether any XC trains used the Goods Loops? Were there any unusual reversals at Brock?

Nothing interesting at Brockenhurst. The 1645 and 1715 (1520 and 1603 from Weymouth) went through to Southampton. The 1633 and 1733 terminated in platform 1 and returned to Poole on STP schedules. Everything else cancelled pretty much (even the Lymington branch after 1900).
