image hosting sites?

Which image hosting site(s) do you use? and Why? Any hints or tips?

To answer my own question - I use fotopic. Because I was able to build a mini-site, which tied in neatly to my main site. Also, the uploading and image management seems quite easy to me.

for websites anything is better than webs.com, for photos it depends what you want, if you want a website that ios a photo gallery, fotopic is great, if you just want a basic place to host some pics and embedd them on forums or other places, flickr is probably the best

I use photobucket, which has a number of means of displaying galleries, including a sort of rolling image programme.

I use Photobox, but one thing thats doing my head in is the fact that I can only click to view the full image if I am signed in, but if im not signed in it will only show the smaller image (not thumbnail but a standard image size). There may be a setting somewhere to allow people to view the original full size image?

Help me if anyone knows?

I use(d) fotopic (http://www.scott2007.fotopic.net) but moving to 50webs now (http://www.scott-rail.50webs.com*) will buy a proper URL when the site is done.

I did a load of research into this last year having got totally fed-up with fotopic. I finally narrowed it down between Smugmug and Zenfolio. ZF 'won' and I've been with them ever since. They're a great company with top notch support. They've just introduced theme customisation (as well as proper SEO) and you can now do groovy things like this:

I mostly use Flickr (although I've been ignoring it recently and have about a 5 month backlog of photos), but for a quick upload of a small number of photos to show people, I just use imageshack.

I use fotopic. I'm a standard "free" user but still the option appears to buy photos. Has anyone investigated this further? Has anyone been successful in selling their photos through the site?
