Seeing as HMP455 has not replied yet to keep this quiz moving im gonna have my go from before.

Its capable of 125mph
Its used all over the country on long distance routes
Its one of the oldest passenger trains in daily use

I'll go with... Class 144... it's probably a pacer... but which one...

It's not going to be a 144 because only Northern use those. It's either a 142 or a 143. And since Peter has claimed 142, I'll go for 143.

Considering the identity of the poser, I think I have an edge here given 143s are still common around Exeter.

They are common all over England
They are also found in small numbers in Wales
Built early 90's
