No one knows the pass mark but it is generally said to aim for 2 or less to be safe, of cause more than that will probably be allowed

Does anyone know how many omissions are allowed in the GB test? My speed and consistency are fine but I'm missing between 1 and 4 each time. I missed 6 last week when I had my daughter running round me.
Thanks

Now thats what is classed as a distraction - I have to hide upstairs, I used to get 0 ommisions and 0 incorrect now i'm getting 2 ommisions. The pass mark is coverted information. It was a long time since I passed and cant remember how far I got down the page.

This is the second time I've had to take it. My previous pass runs out (after 5 years) just before the start of my rules course.
Last time I got about 1750 with 1 omission which was a top pass but this time although my speed is about the same (if not a bit quicker) my omissions are higher, probably down to 5 years of night shifts. That said, I've just had another go and did 1772 with 2 missed.
I've tried slowing down but then my consistency goes out of the window.

One thing I can't remember on the paper test, if you incorrectly mark one but notice it can you correct? I'm booked in at DBS by the way.

Thanks

That made me chuckle. :D

Only because it sounds so familiar with my little two year old.

Oh how the results drop when there are distractions around.

Does anyone know if First Group use the online or paper version?
Paper when I did mine. We were told if we marked one incorrectly then if we put another line through it (i.e. - a cross) it would be counted as not marked.

Don't be marking more than two incorrectly no matter how many cells you complete...

Would any body be able to give feedback on this? I know there is no known pass mark but if anyone has passed with similar it would fill me with a little confidence.

I understand these could all be 10 but I was trying to keep to a rhythm! I'm hoping the consistency is enough (median to mean differences are pretty small).

Thanks for any advice!

Have never took this test myself mate but that looks really good to me, the row fluctuation is down at 3.03 which I think indicates reasonably tight concentration and speed overall. I would be happy personally to get that with 1265 cells.

Slow down a bit to say 1150 and see if you do it without the errors

Thanks for the advice... (still need to slow it down to eradicate that error)

I've been practising in rooms with the TV on, or conversations in the background, and even the odd comment from me, to try and make sure I will be able to stay focused when I'm in a room full of scribbling pencils! May be worth a try to those trying to lock their scores in beforehand. Still struggling to get rid of those last 1-2 errors; always spotted but 1 or 2 cells too far to go back and change. Hoping for paper test! Slight bit of slowing too, hopefully it's good enough.

I think thats about good enough, members on here have posted they've passed with less cells and/or more errors than that. Any further time practicing would now probably be better spent on the other tests.
