There is a very clear purpose to reality tv. It is a method of the ruling classes to keep the proletariat from revolution by persuading them that the way to escape poverty; to cast off their chains, is not by revolution but by achieveing celebrity status. You mark my words; reality tv is just another method employed by the system of keeping the proletariat down, and therefore the capitalists up.

Little Britain and Dead Ringers are about the only things I watch on TV these days. Little Britain is still good but it seems to be more of a "mass" rather than a "cult" thing these days.
