Identifying old railway line in Edinburgh

Had a walk along the Blackhall path when I went to Edinburgh to visit someone, I'm 99% certain it's an old railway. Can't seem to find much on google about it, like where it went and it's purpose. Think the area is known Blackhall / Craighleith.
Surely someone can enlighten me please?

Caledonian Railway, abbreviated to “CR” - Barnton branch on the left, Granton branch on the right. A later large scale map labels it as LMSR presume following grouping. There’s various ages and scales of the maps, many have the route names alongside the railway sections, which might help you find stuff by Googling, eg here:
