I have an ex-BR Ultimatic machine which has a label showing the five fares that it issued before its removal, all Cheap Off Peak:
EPSOM 90p | EPSOM HALF 45p | WIMBLEDON £1.10 | LONDON £1.80 | LONDON HALF 90p
From those fares I’d say the machine was at either Stoneleigh or Worcester Park.
Stoneleigh acquired APTIS sometime in 1987 and Worcester Park in Jan-88. Does anyone have an old fares manual of that period that would confirm what station had those fares?
