Given the number of Thameslink services that have been cut or never even started there should be ample 700 units spare, it would make sense for some of the shorter / outer suburban Southern routes to Victoria to be transferred to Thameslink (its all GTR) freeing up 377s for use on the coast.
The coastway services have already been cut even with the 313s.Can I just remind the non 313 fans on this thread, if you are local to the Coastway routes you may want to consider what you dislike more: a 313 or a very infrequent service.
Since losing the 455s up here in London Land the services (as has been well documented elsewhere) have been slashed and many who lamented 455s now realise that without anything to replace them they were better than nothing.
Presumably some drags to Sims of Newport are imminent?
