Idea: Lowestoft to Norwich every 30 minutes

During the summer months there appear to be a lot of people using the line from Lowestoft to Norwich, I think a basic summer pattern of 1tph calling at Oulton Broad North and Norwich only, and 1tph calling all stops to Norwich. If you set the Stopper off at xx:50 and the fast at xx:20 they should both clear the line for the other. With an intense service platforms at Norwich will have to be smartly used but I feel this is a viable option.

It's currently a single unit (1 to 3 coaches) about once an hour.

And that unit generally ends up Full, with a large catchment area, there are 6 buses an hour between Lowestoft and Norwich yet only one train...

Yes, I know, and if 3 cars is regularly full in the peak, the first step should be longer trains (SDO equipped, I note there are a couple of short platforms) rather than more.
