Yes, I think now that it was 60112. It may have also worked to Marylebone - I have no idea about that. But it definitely worked once to St Pancras. It was mentioned in the railway press at the time, I'm pretty sure.
It was not an error. 60112 was sent south as it was required to work a railtour out of Waterloo.

It was not an error. 60112 was sent south as it was required to work a railtour out of Waterloo.
The railtour was on 25 August 1963, and on this occasion 60112 travelled light engine from Grantham to Nine Elms up the ECML, not via the Midland.
