Ouch. Glad to see he's doing okay though!
Noticed Richard Branson on the news earlier saying how good a driver he was for apparently steering the train as safely as he could after it hit the points...

good to see a fellow railwayman back on his feet, saw the interview and he did good, will be good to see him well and out and about, hope to see him behinf the driving desk soon.

Woah, a tad insensitive...

Nice to see he is ok, but I dont get how he could steer the pendo =S

That is what I was always wondering, Branson called him a hero for remaining in his cab to 'steer' the train after the derailment when really he would have only been a passenger himself after the points. Nonetheless, it's good to see he is out of hospital and going to make a good recovery.
