It has been a long time coming, years, but finally I have the title of a Track Operative for Network Rail, my first day was today.

It's with the help of you guys an the relative threads I have searched through which has helped me get to where I finally am, so thank you.

Yes the good old plate layer! Then we were track man, leading track man and track charge man. Now it's operative, technician, team leader!
