Ahh okay, thanks. How many 25s does Marine have? I was trying to work it out recently and it looked like only a few a day with the majority being Longstone.
Im not entirely sure on that, before Covid, it was definitely more though. My main interest is East Coast Buses, i work on the red ones all day, the East Coast services are more (or could be) more interesting to me!

Entirely hypothetical

I'd been working on something before Covid hit and i thought i could share it and we could discuss? If Covid hadn't happened, i had (i think) good ideas for East Coast. These could potentially be returned to post Covid, but something tells me, if anything - ticket prices are going to go up.

Before Covid, there was talk of a third depot for East Coast, on the X7,104,106 corridor. This has, i believe been dropped. So these ideas were as if Covid never happened, a new depot was acquired and North Berwick was modernised. So the first thing to do would be to introduce a full affordable Ridacard offering to East Coast Buses, with clever bank card capping that offers the same pricing discount. Night services wouldn't be included in Ridacard, they need to make a profit...

A zone structure simplification would be ideal too. Split into Edinburgh, Zone A, B & C, creating simpler fares. Image attached below.
Made a wee mistake so it looks messy, but it does its purpose.

- Faster journeys
- dedicated coach service to Dunbar
- better connections with rail and other services
- leaner service in East Lothian
- It would allow the 26 in the Port Seaton corridor to be tightened up
