Hi all,

In just over a week I will be using a Spirit of Scotland Travelpass to travel around Scotland.

As this is a multi modal ticket what delay repay rules apply?

More specifically on a few of the days we have Train - Ferry connections.

If the train is delayed by say 20mins and as a result we miss our ferry (included in the ticket cost) and the next ferry was 2 hours later would we be entitled to claim for the delay of 2 hours or not?

Just curious as to what would happen in that scenario.

Thanks, Ollie

I suspect not. Rail leg only.

That was my suspicions, but always worth finding out.

As it happens for all our ferry connections if the train is delayed we have a long enough gap that if we miss the ferry we would be well over the threshold for delay repay.

Quick question: a wee bit OT I know but can you travel on the bus/ferry on days that you have not filled a box in?

I'm sure the Welsh equivalent allows you to use the bus on non "box days" if you get my drift.
