Hunts Cross disruption - Merseyrail

Hi,

Major disruption at Hunts Cross, been ongoing since yesterday (18/07).

No service between Liverpool Central and Hunts Cross.

They said there is a problem with the traction supply in the area.

Anyone know any more, must be something substantial, they’ve just announced that it will at least start of service on Monday before there is a resolution.

Problem with the 11kV feeder cable for the traction supply. Was mooted to be possible cable theft.
