The up loop at Hungerford has for about a week shown as 'SHUT' on OpenTrainTimes, last Friday a rake of hoppers with no loco was in there, very unusually. I don't know if they are still there. Does anyone know if anything odd has happened?

The wagons were left stabled in Hungerford loop (Don't know why), not long afterwards the entrance and exit points failed a cyclical inspection which resulted in them being unable to be used until repairs made, thus preventing the return of a locomotive to pick up the wagons. These repairs have now been completed and the wagons await collection.

The wagons got left in the loop due to a fractured metal air pipe.
No idea why the loop is still shut.

The exit was repaired, but the presence of the wagons prevented the repairs to the entrance being carried out.
