Huddersfield train / bus integration

As many of you will know, Huddersfield Train station is being seriously upgraded. However, despite the bus station being only a few hundred yards from the train station, it is necessary to navigate a busy road.
1. Could a well lit subway be constructed from the disused platform (currently with the class 140? In it) via the blocked tunnel directly to the bus station?
2. Could bus station times be shown in the train station and vice versa to provide integrated transport opportunity?

2. Yes, but that would require various bodies to work together and extend their systems into the other's premises.

1. Where would you exit at the bus station? It would have to be level access, and Huddersfield Bus Station used to be quite the trouble spot. Not sure I'd want to be in a subway at night round that way, no matter how well lit.
