Trying to replace the sounds on the HST supplied with the Peterborough to Kings Cross route, using the Armstrong Powerhouse MTU easyapply utility. Don't suppose anyone knows the file root?

Now installed the sounds, but they don't seem to work properly. No AWS, no handle sounds, or most of the motor sounds either. Anyone else had this?

Can't think why it wouldn't install. Clearing the blueprint cache might help, failing that run the installer again. I had a similar issue with the SE 375s reverting to default sounds and reinstalling seemed to fix it.

Also, is it just me or are the HST brakes a bit slow to release? I don't know if its prototypical or not but slowing down for the ESR at Hitchin in one of the scenarios resulted in me grinding to a halt and looking a bit daft...

I suppose having slowly releasing brakes is better than no breaks at all, which is the current problem with my HSTs, as I found out approaching Glasgow Central

HST's have one of the slowest releasing brakes going. Even slower than vacuum stock. Takes time to adjust. If your using greater than step 4 then thats unprototypical driving.

Cheers for that, the HST included with this route has no notches for the brake controls. Strange considering the default HST that comes with the game itself had the notches added quite some time ago.

Brake tip: release the brakes about 15 mph above your desired speed, then apply full throttle.
