HST power car moves ECML?

I was at a level crossing in Northumberland yesterday and saw two HST power cars coupled together going north. Are these in relation to the moves of HST stock going to Scotland?

Without a few more details, who knows?

They could have been on a test run following works at Craigentinny or Heaton - perhaps roughly what time and location and Real Train Times might give away where they were to / from from which it may be possible to work out if they are related to the Scotrail HSTs.

That will have been 0S44 0921 Heaton depot to Inverness depot, 43145 and 43127 in ex FGW plain blue livery. They’ve gone to Inverness for fitter training.

I think it was more a case of sarcasm as opposed to any sort of meaningful hatrid towards you - granted it is hard to tell over the internet.

Correct - the point I was making is without a crystal ball or some basic facts it's very difficult to offer a meaningful answer.
