HST on Highland Mainline

Just heading home from Glasgow on a packed 170, just north of Dalwhinnie we passed anHST heading south at 17:30. Looked like a Virgin set, but normally only one of them a day on Highland mainline, one to London at 8 in the morning and one back form London at 8 at night. Anyone have any info?

The Southbound one broke down this morning, as mentioned above that is probably the affected set heading back to Edinburgh.
