Apologies if this has been asked before, or the answer is obvious, I’m not too clued up on these things.
’Who drives the HST Measurement Train?’
Considering it covers all or most of the UK network, how many drivers are required to drive it, considering the route knowledge required?

Colas drivers crew the NMT as part of their infrastructure monitoring contract.

Colas Rail Infrastructure Monitoring drivers.

There's currently around 65 drivers in that pool, spread around the country. Whilst it's true that route cards of said drivers tend to be pretty large, it's abnormal for a given NMT shift to be covered by a single driver in it's entirety.

These drivers also cover the various other test trains network rail own (with the exception of the class 950/Track recording unit).
