HST in Scarborough Today

Not sure how common this is now but
there's an HST on the weekly summer London train in Scarborough station today

Yes there's nothing on youtube of HSTs on that line as far as I know

I once caught one of the MML summer services from Scarborough formed of a 5 carriage Meridian. This proved to be way too short, so if they've switched to 125's, that's a step forward.

There are several videos of an EMT HST at Scarborough whilst on a railtour, if that is what you mean.

It's normally a Meridian. Last time I did it I think it was a 7 car

Not sure a HST on the summer Saturday service is too common

7 car meridian is the norm, HST is relatively unusual so take the opportunity if you can. I am riding it from Doncaster to Sheffield, simply because I was in the right place at the right time!

Yeah, I have heard it is because the Meridian was needed elsewhere so they found a spare HST instead

It sounds like my parents may be interested in taking a trip on the HST or at least seeing it at Scarborough - not used to such enthusiasm from them!
