Looks like some more HS2 viaducts are having segments built, according to Twitter.

Viaduct deck sections starting to be produced for the Birmingham end of a certain high-speed rail line (pics from an informed source)

That was what I thought but the picture clearly isn’t of inner Birmingham. Unless they’re casting the viaduct segments at Kingsbury and then transporting them to Curzon Street?

Embedded in the text is the factoid that EFKB are building 15 viaducts in its 80km HS2 contract (between Wendover and Long Itchington).

A couple of nuggets in there:
- the realignment at the northern end of the Princes Risborough-Aylesbury route is down for August-October (10-week closure)
- work on the cross-passages in the Chiltern tunnels has reached #16, north of Chalfont St Giles, which is about half way
