Any experts know? Will Javelins fit down Crossrail?

Possibly, but they won't be used on it

They ought to fit, as Crossrail is to have normal size UK stock with pantograph, running in 6m diameter tunnels.

However there is no likelihood whatsoever of it happening, as the 24 tph Crossrail service will see the lines total capacity used.

Agreed. But, perversely, by observation and Googling I can see a route from Forest Gate, via Barking then slipping onto HS1 at Dag (just after HS1 emerges) and off at Ebbsfleet that would give the Faversham service better connectivity through London. 99% of the infrastructure seems already in place. Of course it doesn't have to be Javelins; anything that can keep up the pace will do. Will Shenfield and Abbey Wood use the whole 24 tph?
