Work is progressing, the "Bo" Bogie is now pretty much 100% complete again with only a little bit of the brake rigging to be refitted. Both of the traction motors have been overhauled and put back.
Me and a few of the guys have started on the "Co" Bogie" in preparation for it's overhaul, basically I've needle gunned the spider (the great big thing in the centre of the frame which attaches to the locomotive) and have started to work on loosening various bolts (mainly for the traction motor lifts and also to start removing the brake rigging). The idea is for me & one other guy to hit it overnight in a few weeks with the needle guns and get the whole bogie done in one to make up for lost time.
Some bits of brake rigging have already been overhauled for the "co" as have a few other little bits and pieces.
While progress has slowed over the last twelve months we have still been doing things, now that a few main guys will get their spare time back shortly then we will be hitting it full force again to get back on track.
