I am due to go to an interview tomorrow for a bus driving job and for the life of me I cannot remember how to start-up an enviro 200. I know I need to press the master switch initially to get every thing going and I vaguely remember putting my hand under the dash but I can't remember the proper sequence of things.

I don't want to look more of a prized prat than I do already.

I haven't driven a bus in 3 years due to ill health but now I'm fighting fit and want to get back into things for 3 days a week at least.

If someone could be so kind as to refresh my memory with this I would be very grateful. PM me if preferred.

Thank you very much for your help in advance.

I would suggest that any bus company that expects you to drive a vehicle you haven't been given a chance to familiarise yourself with should be avoided. Just ask the interviewer.

Just a gentle reminder that thread titles need to br descriptive please :) I have amended it; feel free to adjust it if you can think of a better title. Thanks :)

The start up sequence can vary depending on what the operator has specified, so the best option is to ask the operator you plan to work for.

Just go in and say you never driven that type before. You will start on a good footing.

Should you perhaps prepare for other interview questions, beyond how to start an Enviro 200? If the employer asks competency-based interview questions, such as 'Describe a situation in which you solved a problem', this can be unnerving if you've not prepared for such questions (Google it) but much more straightforward if you have prepared answers.
