I have seen a couple threads which now can not be commented on, does anyone know how to get a copy of Mick Rawlings map? I am a qualified driver not a enthusiast so these are important for my job

If it’s something that you need for your job as a qualified driver; it is something that you should be getting from your employer, not an enthusiasts forum.

If you want to add a comment on a thread that has been closed, you can click the Report button under one of the messages in the the thread and send a message to the forum administrators and ask for it to be reopened.

You can also click on the username for a message and send a message to the user. However, in this thread https://www.railforums.co.uk/threads/making-your-own-route-maps.227854/#post-5523365 it looks like @Frankfurt hasn't been on these forums since 2024. However, if you send them a message, they might get an email and reply.

There are several different maps we have access to over all operating companies however after seeing recently these maps they are one of a better ones.

To be fair, "official" route maps issued to drivers are invariably next to useless for drivers. I've produced a book of my own maps for all the routes at my depot. It's not something that we absolutely *need*, but a lot of drivers wanted a copy as it's a very convenient resource to refer to when necessary.
