If you have miles in column A and chains in column B

Chains Total
=MOD(SUM(B1:B8),80)

Miles Total
=SUM(A1:A8)+INT(SUM(B1:B8)/80)

Obviously you may need to change the cell references A1:A8 and B1:B8 depending on how your spreadsheet is laid out and how many rows you want to add up.

You can drag a formula down the rows and it'll update the cell identities automatically can't you?
