Hi all,
Does anyone have advice on how to track class 37 snowplough workings? A 37 was recently seen clearing snow around Aviemore but it didn't seem to show on RHTT or Rail Record.
Are these normally listed anywhere or are they mostly short notice? Any general tips appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

They might use existing Q Paths but I imagine most are VSTP paths and it depends on what routes are prioritised for clearance.
After all, if the ploughs are called in, there'll be no other trains heading that way.

Is snowploughing treated as an engineering possession or is it just an ordinary (if that's the right word) service?

There certainly were no schedules input for snowploughing moves when I was involved - Their running was way too unpredictable! There would be however for transit moves to a standby location.
