Hi, I have tried to download it but I can't find the actual programme. I have done it before but now I can't do it. Could someone send me a link in how to do it? I have been to the website but I can't find the link to download it.

I have now done it, and playing!.


One more thing! (that's been said before!) when I am on certain trains before I move it says about shutting the doors, how do I do it? also how do I turn the engine on?

first you should move the reverser back and forth. By default this is your up and down arrows. Then press Insert to cancel the AWS. THEN start up by pressing 2.

Cheers. I will need to map a few new keys. My up and down arrows don't work anymore after some liquid got in to there. Cheers ta.

you can map keys by right clicking in the game and going to options. when you start the engine, the reverser must be in neutral, and you must be stationary.

On the control panel that I have (right click, options) doesn't say anything about starting the engine.

no, I mean you can map the keys in 'options'. for simplicity, as default, '2' is start engine, '3' is cut engine ;)

Hi, me again, I have just gone to play it again after I had to remove it. I downloaded it but it does not open.


Any advice?

Just tried to re-install it because my PC needed a tidy and now it doesn't work. I downloaded it again and it won't work.

Can you be more specific please, what steps have your tried, in what order and what are your system specs?

Downloaded it from the link on the second page.

Installed it.

No routes show etc.
Also my specs are 512MB RAM
120GB HDD

Have you reinstalled .NET Framework?

Ahh. I have all the .NET Framework files on my PC.


When I download the BVE4 all I get are three files, two are 'Read Me' files and the set up one. Which is a location save file.
