Hi all!
Just joined the forum to ask a quick question in regard to rail replacement buses.
My situation is I need to make a Journey from Nottingham to Kidderminster on the 2nd of January to go say my farewells to 1501 (15xx 0-6-0PT) and 2857 (2-8-0) due to their boiler tickets expiring soon and record some of their final journeys on the SVR for my YouTube before they both get placed in an overhaul queue. I would do it on the 1st but I've already made plans to go out for new years with a bunch of friends so I'm kinda stuck haha. There are 3 changes in this journey (Very first of the day) One is on the journey on the 6:00 Nottingham to Coleshill Parkway in which I swap to a bus at 7:25 to Birmingham New Street, From there I walk to Birmingham Snow Hill to take the 8:24 to Kidderminster.
I am a bit worried about the bus being late and screwing with the other journeys I have to make, will the bus at this time be reliable and should I do this journey? I do have an alternative option of going on the evening of the 1st and having Accommodation from relatives if people think it's too unreliable but I need to be at the Severn Valley Railway before 10:00 to film the first train and get to my lineside spot.
A quick response would be nice (I know this is being written at 1:30 am but as in same day)

The walk from New Street to Snow Hill isn't too bad, depending how fast you walk it can be done in less than 10 minutes. I can do it in 5 minutes, but that's me, I'm not the average person! I'd go for it and have a great time
