How much is 1st class Virgin weekend upgrade from Wolverhampton to London?

Can't get a clear answer online! I know from Birmingham+south of there it's £10, but all other places £15? Or does Wolverhampton come under "west midlands" so still £10?

Also on a Crewe to London ticket, if I get the train that goes via Birmingham+Wolverhampton, can I move into 1st at either of those to pay just £10 instead of £15?

You will be charged the upgrade fee from where you got on, IME. I think Wolverhampton is £15.

Any West Midlands station to London or stations in between is £10... Any other route (Manc, Glasgow, Liverpoool, North Wales or Scotland) or any station in between is £15 upgrade fee. We'll worth it though!!

This is one of the many Virgin policies that riles me.

Wolverhampton-Euston is £10 to upgrade, while Nuneaton to Euston, which is considerably shorter, is charged at £15. Virgin have consistently had it in for us here.
