How much does a TOC get from an ALR?

about delay repay with an All Line Rover, I just wondered how much LNER actually get from mine. 1st class, two weeks, Senior Railcard discounted, starting today. Anyone know?

Probably a similar trade secret to the revenue distribution on Interrail/Eurail and BritRail passes.

However, unlike the above passes, ALRs are still stuck in "analogue" format so there won't be much scan data. Given that, logical ways of distributing the revenue would seem to me to include:

• Using travel diaries completed by a small (theoretically representative) proportion of customers
• Dividing it by passenger service-miles operated (possibly with an adjustment for capacity)

Not much - its going to be split between all 25 or so train operators so no matter what formula is used it won't be a great deal.

Won’t Lennon apply a factor either agreed among all carriers. Or by looking at the percentage of all revenue it allocates to a carrier in an agreed period. For example if LNER receives14% of all TOC revenue in the last 12 months, it gets14% of the ALR price.

It still isn't much. The most you can pay for an All Line Railrover at current prices is £1450, and at 14% LNER would get £200 - for them it's a drop in the ocean.
