Officially two hours, however if you booked through a WebTIS engine then it is usually available within 15-20 minutes. If you booked with mytrainticket then it is available after 15 minutes.

Who did you book with?

I would say they are available pretty soon. It is really only thetrainline-powered websites that take quite a long time to download the bookings as the process is manual.

Southern and XC have always been instant pickup for me. I often book on Southern whilst standing next to the ticket machine on the station to get the 6.06% cash back on top cashback and every time the ticket is available instantly. I figure that if for some reason it was delayed I could always use rainy day guarentee and get a full refund so its basically risk free turn up and go online ticket buying!

I have previously bought from East Coast while standing next to the machines at Euston and collected immediately afterwards.
