how long ago was Malton station sidings last used?

Sure I remember seeing some departmental engineering trains parked up here on occasion a few years back.

Anyone have any details as to when these sidings were last used?

Probably during the scarborough blockade or while Huttons Ambo Bridge was being refurbishes, which would have been around 3-5 tpyears ago. They still see occasional use as the sidings at Seamer ovcasionally plays host to a tamper

Were any machines stabled in there last year during the relay works?

when involved with track renewals in the area about 6 years ago we did have some trains planned to be outstabled at Malton.
