I was at Hatton station today and by chance caught a class 43 (Rail adventure) livery which
was passing, a couple of other spotters there filming too which made me think - how do people find out when these locos are passing. I use realtime trains to schedule my spotting and there maybe some info that I am missing but can anyone help point me in the right direction please?

When you use Realtime Trains to search a particular location, eg Hatton, click on the detailed view button, and from that page you can change the "When?" time to all day - search and scroll down to see all calls & pass booked. People who know a particular loco is passing may have got the info from somewhere such as a Facebook group.
