How about a thread about rail programmes on TV?

Yes, let's try and keep this thread TV related. I have Sky which is why most of the programmes are Sky only, although quite a few were also Freeview. I have an iPhone application called Sky+ which allows me to do subject searches, so I do searches for 'trains', 'rail' and 'railway' and I can see all the programmes on in the next week that cover those topics. Although in my original post I also trawled all the documentary channels for a weeks worth of viewing which was a particularly laborious task! Glad some of you find this useful.

Watched part two of the programme about bombays railways earlier on bbc4, very informative and eye opening. This thread is an excellent idea, top marks to the OP! :)

I actually caught quite a decent Railway program on BBC 4 about indian railways, much more interesting than I thought (Although it came on at 3:10 am!).
